“Simply Gorgeous” Deportment and Grooming short course

The course is designed for young women, and includes advice and practical workshops on matters such as make-up, skin care, grooming, how to build a good wardrobe and deportment. This course was created after clients, some being mothers said “If only I had been shown how to do this when I was younger!

Sandra presents this course in an entertaining and relaxed manner. Image At Katan has many experts and assistance on hand to look after any of your image needs.

Week 1.

Image Impact: What is Style: “Why dressing is easy and looking good is hard and the things that make you say yuck!”

Week 2.

Style Solutions: What clothes best suit your body shape. The recommendations and guidelines you will receive in this week will simplify your life, make shopping for clothes easier and help you to look and feel your very best.

Week 3.

Colour yourself Beautiful: The power of colour. Once you know which colour enhances your complexion you will never look back. Wearing the right colours will brighten your eyes, flatter your figure, bring out your natural beauty and make you look younger

Week 4.

Beauty, Skincare and makeup: Personal grooming: We will teach you the principles of a proper make-up. Learn tips and tricks of how to keep your makeup on all day

Week 5

Wardrobe workout: How to build a great wardrobe.

Find out how to get 114 different looks from 6 bottoms and 7 tops.

Week 6

Deportment: The importance of good posture:

Learn how to keep verbal and non-verbal messages consistent to ensure you are viewed as credible and trustworthy.

Week 7

Graduation night: learn to network:

Week 8.

Photographic session. Your time to shine.

This gives you the opportunity to show off what you’ve learnt.

Duration:

• 8 weeks part time during the evenings for 2 hours or
• 8 weeks part time after school for 2 hours or
• 3 days during school holidays.

Prerequisites:

      A pair of shoes you walk in regularly

      High heeled shoes for walking classes (week 6)

      A selection of clothes (week 5)

      Note pad and pen

5-10 participants

Recommended Age for Participants

This course is designed for young women between the ages of 15 and 19 years.

• Your personal style solutions shopping guide which will have up to 500 up to date illustrations.

It covers everything you want to know from hairstyles, lingerie, bridal, jackets, necklines, hem lengths, shoes, glasses, hats, skirts and dressers. No item of clothing or accessory is left out.

• A colour swatch, that has your family of colours specially created for you. This takes all the guesswork out of remembering what colours look best on you when shopping.

• A desk top photo frame and photo.
